The Epworth Foundation has formed a new nonprofit housing entity to own and operate 70 units of low income, elderly, and handicapped-accessible housing in the Five Points neighborhood. The housing project operates under arrangement with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and includes one 10-unit, one 6-unit, and one 54-unit highrise. It is the goal of the Epworth Foundation to continue to acquire and operate other housing to provide for the needs of the area’s low-income families. |
